Intelligence and Policy

The materials included here deal with the relationship between intelligence and policymaking in a general or broad sense. The nature of that relationship is such that questions of the role of intelligence in national security policymaking (Too little intelligence? The right kind of intelligence? Timeliness of delivery to the decisionmaker? Use of intelligence?) are present for every policy decision. Materials relevant to individual policies, decisions, and events are found throughout the titles presented in this bibliography. Items are arranged alphabetically by decade of publication.
